Good news!

We got some good news today…our auto insurance (USAA) is going to pay for all the repairs on the truck.  By the time the adjuster got back to me this afternoon, it was too late to get it towed to the transmission place, so that will happen in the morning. Once they have looked at it and assessed the damage they’ll be able to give me an estimate on time and then Aidan and I can decide what our plans are.

My little man and I went for some walks today.  He’s so impressive on the skateboard, and I love looking at all the beautiful flowers.

   

I do need to fess up that I might steal the neighbors ’61 Chevy.  I love this truck!

My brother in law, Steve, left for Alaska this afternoon, so now it’s just Aidan and I. The creatures love their Uncle Steve and have nick named him ‘Thorin’, because they think he looks just like Thorin on the Hobbit movie.

Danny sent me a couple pictures from Panama. Hannah feels right at home and loves it there.

 

My sweet father in law has been so kind as to let me use his cute little yellow bug, and while driving today I noticed this!!! It’s been a while since I’ve seen one of these!

Though it’s frustrating to be in this position of needing to hold tight because of the truck situation, I am loving every minute with my sweet Aidan. He may be the youngest of our five sons and the 10th of 11 children, but he is every bit as smart as the rest of them. He amazes me and I am so grateful for him.
